Intrauterine insemination (IUI) treatment, also known as artificial insemination (AI), we have now achieved success rates of up to 70%.
This treatment is an ideal solution for many couples who are dealing with unexplained infertility or male infertility. Advice is given according to the patient’s own particular circumstances and, as IUI itself is a relatively low-risk procedure, patients can proceed with the treatment without concern.
After a full and thorough diagnosis and assessment, if it is determined that you are a suitable candidate for intrauterine insemination, our doctors will only discuss this treatment with you.
It is normal to be nervous before beginning an intrauterine insemination procedure. However, if you have any questions or concerns about the treatment before and during the procedure, please do not hesitate to talk to us and your attending physician.
The doctor will begin by cleaning the sperm, whether it is the father’s or the sperm donor’s, to remove impurities and leave only the material needed for pregnancy. The cleaned sperm will be sent into the uterus through a tiny tube that has been hitched to your cervix.
Afterwards, our doctors may instruct you to consume progesterone. About a week later, you will need to have another blood test, and your doctor will assess your oestrogen and progesterone production based on the results.
– Then, 10-14 days later, you will be scheduled for a home pregnancy test. During the course of your treatment, you may be mentally and emotionally taxed, so please feel free to keep in touch with us at all times. We are always on standby to help you.
The success rate of your treatment will depend on your own particular circumstances, but on average we are pleased to let all our patients know that our success rate of around 70 per cent is well above the international average.
The ability to achieve such an impressive success rate is due to the dedication of our dedicated team of professionals who always put the patient first.
